For families split across a phone call

Your parents are in Bihar. You are not. We are the ones who show up.

Kevat is a local support system for ageing parents in Patna, Muzaffarpur and Begusarai — coordinated by us, reported back to you. Wherever you are: Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Dubai, London, New Jersey.

Onboarding city by city. Every coordinator is interviewed, reference-checked and known to us before they knock on your parents' door.

Why Kevat exists

The problem is not distance. It is who is there on a Tuesday afternoon.

Your parents are managing fine, mostly. Until the BP medicine runs out, or the electricity bill is overdue, or a fall means someone has to get to the hospital by three o'clock — and the only person who could help is a flight, or a time zone, away.

Kevat exists for that Tuesday afternoon. We are the local presence your parents do not currently have, and the peace of mind you do not have either.

"Not grand gestures. Just someone who is there, and who tells you what they saw." What we are actually selling

How it works

Four steps, and then it just runs.

STEP 01

Tell us about your parents

Their city, routine, health conditions, and what worries you most.

STEP 02

We assign a local coordinator

Someone who knows the neighbourhood, the nearest pharmacy, and your parents by name.

STEP 03

Visits run on your plan's schedule

Medicines, appointments, groceries, bills — handled, not merely reminded about.

STEP 04

You get a report, not a guess

A note and a short call after every visit — and an immediate call if something needs you now.

Visit note — the thing you actually receive

Both parents at home. Medicines checked against the prescription — the amlodipine strip runs out in nine days, so I have noted the refill for next Tuesday. Papa's knee is swelling again and he is walking less than last visit; Mummy says the stairs now take him two minutes. BP was 148 over 92, taken twice. I have booked Dr. Sinha at the clinic on Wednesday at 11am. Electricity bill paid and receipt left on the dresser.

Join the waitlist

Tell us about your parents.

We are onboarding families gradually, city by city, so every coordinator is someone we have actually vetted. We will reach out as we open your city.

You are on the waitlist. We have your details and will be in touch within a day. If you do not hear from us, write to [email protected].

We use these details only to contact you about Kevat. No lists, no resale, no marketing from anyone else.

Our model

We coordinate. We do not just dispatch.

We do not employ doctors, nurses or physiotherapists ourselves. Instead we build and vet a local network in each city, and one coordinator owns your parents' case — the same person, visit after visit, who knows their routine and notices when something is off.

That is a deliberate choice: it keeps specialist rates honest, lets us bring in the right person for the right need, and means the relationship stays with a human being, not a call-centre queue.

Your parents meet the same person every time

Continuity is the whole product. A rotating roster cannot tell you that your mother sounded different this Tuesday — the coordinator who saw her last month can.

"In the Ramayan, Kevat is the boatman on the Ganga who carries Ram across the river — asking for nothing, simply doing the work of getting someone safely to the other side." We took the name because that is the job: not grand gestures, just being the one who is there to ferry your family through.

Before you sign up

The questions families actually ask.

What if my parents do not want a stranger in the house?

It is the most common objection, and usually the first visit is where it goes away. The coordinator comes once with you on a video call, is introduced as help you arranged, and does something concrete that first time — a medicine pickup, a bill. In our experience parents keep the arrangement because it makes them less dependent on you, not more.

Can my parents call the coordinator directly?

Yes. Your parents get the coordinator's number, and you get it too. Emergencies should not have to route through you first.

Who pays the chemist, the hospital, the repair man?

Small, recurring things — medicines, bills, groceries — are settled by us and shown as itemised lines on your monthly statement, within the limits you set at sign-up. Larger or unplanned costs are always confirmed with you before anything is spent.

My parents are not in Patna, Muzaffarpur or Begusarai.

Join the waitlist anyway and tell us the city. We open cities by family demand, and a cluster of families in one district is exactly what makes a coordinator hire possible.

What are the visiting hours, and can I be on the call?

Visits are scheduled in the morning or evening window your parents prefer, and you can join by video call at the end of any visit. If the timezone makes that awkward, we send a written note and a photo record instead, and can schedule a weekly weekend call.
